No matter how long the Winter, Spring is sure to follow

Spring is finally here! I'm so excited for it to be warm!! Plus I'm excited to share my wonderful news! I am a Facebook Design Team member for my favorite artist! This is my first DT card for Ching-Chou Kuik :)

She was so fun and lovely to color I actually colored her twice! Once in Copics and once in Distress Ink Markers!! She is called Heart of Spring!

This first card is colored in Copics :) This is my design team card!
Here's the card front!

Hair: E18, E15, YR23, Y21
 Orange Flowers: YR23, E15, Y21
Pink Flowers: R89, R85, R83, R81
Mum: R89, R85, R83, R81, YR23, E15, Y21

Dress: B99, B97, B95, B93

Here is my second Card! I just made this for fun!

For this card I made a Peek-a-boo card! I lengthened the dimensions  from a Stampin Up! tutorial I received from a friend :)
Here's what it looks like closed!

Love this! This stamp is from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.

I wanted to show it partially open.

Tada!!

Skin: Tattered Rose, Vintage Photo, Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Gathered Twigs, Walnut Stain
Dress, Shaded Lilac, Dusty Concord, Seedless Preserves
Mum: Barndoor, Spicy Marmalade
Pink Flowers: Work Lipstick
Blue Flowers: Stormy sky, Chipped Sapphire
Leaves: Pine Needles, Peeled Paint
Background: Weathered Wood

Sorry for the poor GIF quality! It was a free app! I just wanted to show it :)

A side by side comparison. I love how soft the Distress ink looks but I love the vividness of the Copics :)

Thank you so much for stopping for a look! I would love for you to follow me and I love comments!! <3 Hugs!

  2. They are both gorgeous! They both have a very different look, but both are beautiful. The peek-a-boo card is really awesome!

  3. I agree with you, I love the look of the copics but the distress inks give it a softness I love to, I love that peek aboo card. Could you possibly post a link to the tutorial or post one yourself, I would love to try this.
