Change is easy, Improvement is Difficult

I haven't been coloring long. I started soon after I started making cards after summer last year :) I fell in love with Saturated Canary Stamps and wanted to give it a shot. Butterfly Princess is the first image I ever colored and the first image I put on a card. Needless to say I wasn't entirely sure what I was doing. This is from November 2014.

Here is the result;
This is the front of the card :)

Here is a close-up of the image.

I joined Kit and Clowder's Facebook group right after I made this card and then began classes shortly after. I have since completed both the Hair and Skin Class and the Clothing Class and I wanted to share the difference that it made to me. :)

This is my card- remade only two and a half months later.

She is far from perfect and I know that I have much to learn and change but I wanted to share my progress with you :)

    1. Thank you so much :) I definitely had a better idea as to the design of the card when I made and colored it again :)

  4. I may be weird but I actually like the before one much better, especially the hair.

    1. :) I enjoy the shadows and being able to see the folds in the fabric instead of the cartoony coloring of the first :) I worked hard on both though and I am proud of both. The hair on the first was a pretty color to me!
